Skin, Coat and Hooves

As many different colors of fur there are with horses - skin and coat always have the same tasks. Protection against wind and weather, injuries and infections play a major role. The skin is responsible for the temperature regulation. With a look at the fur you can already recognize any conditions such as malnutrition, worm infestation, or poor general health. The hooves carry the horse and should always be well-maintained and should be controled by the blacksmith. Even small inequalities are perpetuated by the hooves to the tendons and joints and can later cause many problems.
