Blackberry leaves, cut
Our customers give blackberry to the following animals:
Blackberry for horses (recommendation: 15-35 g per day at 500 kg LW)
Blackberry for dogs (recommendation: 1 pinch to 1/2 teaspoon per day)Blackberry leaves for rabbits and guinea pigs
Blackberry for turtles
Do not apply blackberry to cats! The essential oil can lead to poisoning.
Blackberry helps with diarrhea, gastro-enteritis and cystitis. You have blood-purifying, hemostatic and expectorant effects. It contain tannins, vitamin C, citric acid, potassium, calcium and manganese. Thus it strengthens the intestinal flora.
Furthermore, you have germicidal effects and can always be fed tduring the whole year.

Blackberry also has a blood cleansing effect and thus helps with poorly healing wounds or eczema wit hwet packs.
Use in pregnant animals
Blackberry loosens the tissue and therefore is well suited as a tea before birth.
